Custom Built Homes Require HVAC Selection First

When my parents bought their home that they retired in, they had to do a custom built home.

The place where they were moving was a new housing development in the making, so they went in for this about 3 years before it was time to move and settle in.

The one thing they told me was that the central heating and air conditioning system had to be selected before the house was even built if they were going with any heating and air conditioning method that required ductwork. Because the ductwork was part of the house building blueprint. And I guess it depended on the HVAC brand as to how they were going to lay the ductwork. The construction company in charge of custom building my parents retirement home was really keen on heating and air conditioning. My parents had told me that was because the owner had been a certified heating and air conditioning specialist for many years before changing careers over into the construction field. That actually was a good benefit. Because going with this construction company for custom built homes can actually save you a good amount of money in the end. And i’m not exactly talking about saving money on the house being built, I am talking about saving money on heating and cooling installation costs! And in the end, that could add up to thousands of bucks! I believe my parents were very lucky to have got a company like this that knew all about heating and air conditioning!
