I actually had to install a UV light for antimicrobial purposes

When I was a seven-year-old, my pediatrician actually diagnosed me with asthma.

I had been exhibiting horrible respiratory problems while playing outside or when exposed to heavy concentrations of dust, pollen, or mold spores.

Unfortunately, both Autumn in addition to Spring are not very good times for lung irritants. After numerous years of constant grief, we made the choice that it was time to determine the root cause. Although we finally had a diagnosis for my daunting condition, this did nothing to alleviate my despair. I knew it would restrict me physically in addition to that I’d easily never could play competitive sports no matter how strenuous I tried. Many people with asthma lead normal lives, but I was told my case was extraordinarily harsh. I had to use rescue inhalers in addition to other medications growing up to face the symptoms. It constantly made me feel pretty bad knowing my parents had to pay extra money to have our A/C in addition to HVAC duct professionally cleaned every couple of months simply because of my condition with asthmatic symptoms. Now that I’m an adult in addition to living on my own, I always have to deal with these large expenditures to assure my respiratory health in addition to comfort. I paid to have UV lights installed on either side of our evaporator coil in our Heating in addition to A/C equipment air handler. They prevent mold in addition to microbial growth inside the enclosure in addition to clean a majority of the air passing through. Although they are an extra expense every 12 months when the time comes to upgrade each bulb again, they totally make a difference with our air quality. They might not do everything an actual whole-house air purifier does, but preventing mold growth on the coil is not something a whole-house air purifier can do either.
