Just paying attention to the cash flow

As a thrifty human, I am always keeping an unblinking eye on our household budget and doing what I can to make improvements. My parents worked hard plus their household budget easily reflected that effort. Times are a bit strange now. My husband plus I actually task well over 100 hours a week cumulatively, yet, our household budget hasn’t grown along with rising costs. This fact is why both of us are easily careful about paying attention to that home budget. With a growing family, both of us do our best to try to save somewhere both of us can. One of the largest areas of problem the last few years has been the cost of Heating plus A/C for daily usage. Our house is in a difficult section where the Summer heat can be drastic – just to say the least. This results in the overall Heating plus A/C plan using a high amount of kilowatt hours each day in order to cool the house. The utility bill in the Summer is simply brutalized by the Heating plus A/C cooling costs. So, therefore, both of us decided to spend our money a bit more attention to precisely how both of us use the Heating plus A/C. By doing so, our consumer behavior changed plus both of us began tearing down that utility bill significantly. First both of us chose to go about attempting to try to keep as much Heating plus A/C treated air inside the house each day. Both of us scoured the beach house to find any gap or painful crack that would allow the cool air to seep out. Then, both of us turned to mitigating the effects of direct daylight heating. Solar cling wrap went up on all of the windows receiving direct sun light. However, the largest difference was made by increasing the daily thermostat setting. Both of us now live with a higher Heating plus A/C setting and more money. It entirely wasn’t even that tough.
