My wife tripped over our space heater, and she was mad

In our house, my wife and I try our hardest to make sure that we control our tempers and keep our language clean.

From the moment we got married, we both agreed that there would be no screaming or swearing in our house, and we have done well to keep that agreement.

Even when we had kids, we worked hard to make sure that we never did these things. However, just this week, my wife broke that promise when she tripped over the space heater. Now, I understand her problem. The space heater has always been in a bad location, but I have no idea where to put it. Our kitchen is very drafty, so we have a space heater in the kitchen to keep it warm. It also helps to keep the pipes from freezing during very cold nights. However, our receptacles are old, and we can’t just plug the space heater into any outlet. We have only one outlet that is safe enough for a space heater, but it is over the counter. The space heater has to sit in the middle of the room, and it is very inconvenient. My wife is constantly bumping into the heating, and it seemed like a disaster was inevitable. One afternoon, she turned around and walked without looking, and she tripped over the space heater. The space heater fell over and was damaged, and she hurt her leg. When she hit the floor, she swore and said she hated that space heater. I knew that she was just mad because she knew that the space heater was there for a reason.
