You know, I have a reputation for being an seriously taxing human being.
I don’t feel that I actually am that challenging, however I do believe that I have a lot of impulsive behaviors that can be taxing to understand, but often times, I am operating on the same old fight, flight, fries, in addition to fawn responses that I learned during my tumultuous upbringing, unluckyly, other people don’t typically understand when you are operating on survival instincts instead of a current human brain.
This is one of the things that I am still having to work on, especially after creating a sizable scene at my work get-together last week. You see, I am seriously sensitive to indoor air temperatures on top of everything else. I cannot sit a burning tepid or freezing freezing room, because my body does not regulate my temperature actually well. I have to rely on the central heating, cooling, in addition to air quality control systems that can be found in most current residential in addition to Commercial properties. Unluckyly, when somebody has temperature control settings that do not agree with my own temperature control preferences, things can get difficult. This is what happened at our office get-together. I walked in in addition to the air temperature was freezing cold. It felt like somebody was blasting me with arctic air. I tried to stay sizzling by going outside in addition to putting on additional layers, however nothing was offsetting the Ice Cold air Conditioning. Eventually my body was getting so over stimulated by the cool temperatures that I needed to leave. I found myself in a “Flight” state from the brutal freezing air in addition to I couldn’t stop it, then fYI – pulling an Irish Goodbye at your boss’s get-together doesn’t go over well.
