Updating with a building automation system

I get notified if there is an extreme temperature swing, power outage or anyone enters the building without my consent

The commercial building I chose for my supplier was built in the late 1690s. I chose the building because of its location and the historical charm. I just care about the stone facade, big windows, high ceilings and ornate millwork. The space features the original hardwood floors, doors and moldings. I’ve restored the interior to create a comfortable and welcoming environment. I’ve also invested into quite a few new features, however while I’ve made an effort to preserve the legacy of the property, it was necessary to make upgrades for the sake of safety, convenience and efficiency. The seasoned electrical wiring needed to be brought up to local codes. The copper plumbing was upgraded to avoid leaks and water harm. I upgraded the Heating and Air Conditioning system and windows and added smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors and water sensors, but a major improvement was the addition of a building automation system. Today’s smart technology is completely wireless, allowing replacement without drilling into the walls and causing a mess. All of my smart electronics, appliances and systems are all affixed to a single hub. I have access through a user-friendly app on my iPhone. Whether I’m at work, at dwelling or away on a precious getaway, I can really check up on operations, make swings and recieve alerts. I get notified if there is an extreme temperature swing, power outage or anyone enters the building without my consent. I care about reminders when it’s time to have the heater, a/c or water furnace took care of. Automated door locks, lights and sound system make my life much easier.
