Have you ever had a actually excruciating day, when nothing seems to be going right no matter how difficult you’re trying? Obviously I have, plus sporadically my losing streaks last much longer than a day or two. For weeks last Summer I had terrible luck; everything I touched seemed to go down the toilet. First I got in a car accident, then my friend and I had unexpected medical bills, plus finally my brand new house’s A/C unit went out completely. I had just moved into my new household plus was so happy for the change in environment plus new possibilities, until I got household from labor one day plus found out that it was 95 degrees inside. I was new to operating this digital thermostat, so it took me a few moments of important random buttons before I realized that the central cooling unit was not going to respond. I went out plus checked on the big piece of A/C machinery, however with such limited knowledge about air conditioners, I had no idea what I was even looking for. I eventually gave in plus opened up the greenpages to find a heating plus cooling service nearby, however the closest one was more than 20 miles away! It took the entire day before one of their cooling specialists could make it on site. When he arrived it didn’t sound promising, he made lots of disgruntled sounds before telling me that the entire A/C would have to be upgraded; So much for my unbelievable new house – I’ve already dumped a thousand dollars into it by now!
