We live in an old house, and it does not stay very warm during the winter months.

We have looked into getting our house reinsulated and getting new windows installed, but it is really expensive.

We are saving up to be able to do it, but it will probably be quite a while before we have enough money saved. Our son’s bedroom gets the coldest which really stinks. I usually just let him sleep in our bedroom during the winter, but he is getting older, and he prefers to sleep in his bedroom. I decided to go ahead and put our space heater in his bedroom. I was really nervous at first because I did not want him messing with the heater and hurting himself. It is an electric space heater, but it gets pretty hot to the touch. He is nine years old, and I know that he knows better, but I was just nervous because he is a boy, and boys like to meddle with things sometimes. My husband said that I was being ridiculous for worrying about him messing with the space heater which is probably the truth. I worry about everything though which is really a bad habit. My nickname growing up was worry wart which is pretty self explanatory. I guess I never grew out of worrying about every little thing. That space heater has been in his bedroom for about three weeks now, and we haven’t had any problems with him messing with it. He tells me that I can trust him with the heater, and I truly hope that I can.

I am so glad to have a fireplace in my living room once again, and it looks just like the old one.

I love having a fireplace in my house. I have had one for as long as I can remember, and I cannot imagine my living room without one. Sadly, my fireplace that I had for ten years suddenly stopped working. I do not know why, but it just would not turn on one morning. I was so upset that I cried. I know that is pretty pathetic, but that fireplace really meant a lot to me. So many memories were made around that fireplace. My sweet husband knew how much I loved that specific fireplace, so he searched for days to try and find the exact same one. I did not know that he was looking for one until after it arrived at our house. He was at work when it was delivered, so I was super surprised by it. He took it out of the packaging and installed it that evening when he got home from work. We were so disappointed to find out that our new fireplace did not work. My husband told me how much time he had spent researching to try and find this fireplace, and he said that he could not find any other company that sold that exact model. Thankfully, the company replaced the fireplace with another one that is working great. I am so glad to have a fireplace in my living room once again, and it looks just like the old one. One of our sons came over to the house for a day, and he did not even realize that we had gotten a new fireplace. I told him the whole story, and he said that he could not even tell after I told him about it. I would say that my husband did a pretty amazing job.

I only have a few afternoons to find an a/c unit… I have been looking for an a/c unit for my camper for a couple weeks now.

I wanted a small window unit, but I have not been able to find a small one in store.

I found a lot of small window a/c units online, however they will take too long to ship to me. I need it by this Wednesday, and the a/c unit in my camper used to work great, however it stopped working a few summers ago. I have gone camping in the camper without a/c three times now, plus it is terrible. It gets so tepid in my camper that I usually end up sleeping outside under the stars. It is even warmer in there during the day, so I only go in the camper when I have to. I just don’t want to have to do that again this year. I have a acquaintance who told me that he just obtained a small window a/c unit for his camper, plus it works great. He said that he has been using that little a/c unit for a few years, plus he has had no troubles with it. I thought about it for a little bit plus decided to get a window a/c unit for my camper. I have looked at all of the stores that sell a/c units in my city, however none of them have the little a/c units in stock. They said that they could get one shipped to the store, however it would take a week. I don’t have a week. I need an a/c unit by Wednesday.

My best neighbor finally bought herself a humidifier.

I had been trying to get my best neighbor to start using a humidifier for almost three months. I kept telling her about how much having a humidifier helped improve my health as well as sleep, although she just ignored me most of the time. I didn’t give up because I actually wanted her to try using a humidifier. I adore her, as well as I hated seeing her so sick all of the time. She had trouble with having a stuffy nose as well as sort of a freezing all year round. I told her that it may have been because of how dry the air is in her house. I had the same issue for numerous years until I started using a humidifier. I actually wanted to see if using a humidifier would help my neighbor as well. I gave to let her use my humidifier for a few days just to see if it would help, although she would not take me up on my offer. I sort of just stopped talking about it for a while. My friends pitched in to buy me a new cooling system. I have some of the best friends in the whole world, and they are so superb to me. I don’t deserve such superb friends. I told one of my friends a few weeks ago that I had obtained an cooling system that did not work truly well. I literally obtained the first cooling system that I saw without doing any research, so it was genuinely my fault that I had a bad cooling system. I was still frustrated about it though. The cooling system hardly cooled the home office down, plus that is the room that it was in. I was hoping that one cooling system would cool down most of the first floor of my house, however that was genuinely not happening with my cooling system. I should have done more research or at least looked up reviews about the cooling system that I obtained. I looked up reviews after I noticed that it wasn’t a good cooling system, plus it had more setback reviews than it did positive; My friends had pity on me even though I made a insane mistake. They decided to all pitch in plus buy me a nice cooling system that would absolutely cool down my house. They brought it over to me last night, plus I could not guess it. I genuinely cried because I felt so enjoyed. The new cooling system that they obtained me works so much better than mine did. It had the entire downstairs of my apartment nice plus cool within just a couple of hours.

I genuinely do not like to get things that I know other people have used, but I have been trying to convince myself that it is okay to get used things.

I have found some pretty nice things at second hand stores lately, and it has helped me quite a bit. I am starting to be okay with second hand things. I still cannot bring myself to buy clothes second hand, and I am not sure that I ever will be able to do that, but other things I have found and legitimately used. I found an whole-house air purifier at a second hand store the other afternoon. It was still in the box. I could not assume it. I was so excited. It even said that it was brand new on the box. I looked up the price of that exact whole-house air purifier, and it would have cost me over a hundred dollars more if I would have obtained it at a regular store. I am so glad that I found that whole-house air purifier. I had been wanting an whole-house air purifier for months. I am genuinely anxious about getting the sicknesses that are going around. I genuinely feel like having an whole-house air purifier in my house will help keep me well, however the box says that it will help filter out airborne germs. I genuinely hope that it works because I can’t afford to get sick right now. I know second hand stores aren’t as awful as I once thought. I got a brand new whole-house air purifier, and I am so happy about it.

I am one of those crazy cat ladies. I only have five cats, so I do not guess that is too bad. I would have like fifteen if I could, however my partner asked me not to get anymore after I rescued my last one. She is quite the menous, and she drives my partner crazy. She seems to cherish to option on him the most, which makes me laugh! Both of us dislike the smell of litter boxes, so my buddy and I built an addition onto our house, and my buddy and I call it the cat room. It is small, however it works for them. We have all of their litter boxes and toys in there. We did not run heat out to that room though, so I decided that I would buy a space heater for our cats. It does not get very chilly here, so it is not a pressing deal, but I wanted to make sure that my cats were always comfortable. I entirely found an electric space heater at a garage sale a few miles from my house. At first, the lady was asking for fifty dollars for the space heater, so I did not plan on buying it. I came back to the same garage sale the next day, and she told me that she would sell it to me for twenty-five dollars. I accepted it, and now, my cats have a heated space to play and use the litter box in. My partner says that I am silly when it comes to my cats, and I admit that I sort of am, but I cherish them so much.

I caught my house on fire with my fireplace, plus it was the scariest experience of my life.

I honestly miss my fireplace, however there is no way that I will ever have one again, then when I was a young girl, I used to dream of my forever home.

I wanted a massive farmhouse, plus I regularly wanted a fireplace. I thought it was so appealing watching boys break firewood, so I wanted my future hubby to break firewood for me. My dream became a relativity when I married my soulmate, Josh. He is the sweetest guy that I have ever met, plus he absolutely is the best hubby ever, even though I have grown up plus matured a bit, I have to divulge that I still feel it is super appealing when my hubby chops firewood. He jokes with me all of the time about it. If we ever have a little fight, he teases me plus says that he is going to split some firewood so that I won’t be made at him anymore. Sadly, it would genuinely work, now that we don’t have a fireplace anymore, I am going to figure out another reason for him to split firewood. I desperately miss having a fireplace though. It was all my fault that it caught the house on fire. I am the one who put the wood in the fireplace the night that everything happened. I feel I was overly tired, plus I just stacked the wood in there not even thinking twice about how I stacked it, but a piece of wood ended up falling out of the fireplace, plus it caught the kitchen on fire. The fire spread through most of the downstairs before we realized that there was a fire. It was terrible.
